Hi there - so sorry you've had this diagnosis it's bound to be a worrying time for you - you wouldn't be human if you weren't anxious. I can identify with your anxiety but for different reasons & it can take over your life at a time when you just feel you want to be able to cope. I would certainly keep taking the temazapan because sleeping is important to reducing anxiety levels & I think when they get further into your system they will help even more.

There is 1 technique which is useful for reducing anxiety - breathe in through your nose for 7 seconds & breathe out through your mouth for 11 seconds. It does work & makes you feel a bit calmer. You say you are keeping busy & that's a really good thing to do & spending time with other people is a good distraction if you can manage to. 

The main thing I think is to do what you've done here & talk about how you feel (don't put on a brave face). I'm sure other people will be along here to offer some support. I wish there was a magic formula because it is awful & getting the results will reduce that stress when you know for sure what you are facing. Hopefully something that can be sorted out quickly for you. Good luck to you. x
