I'm really sorry to hear about the pain your wife is experiencing at the moment.
It's important that she make an appointment to speak to her GP or specialist about this. I'm not sure what, if any medication, your wife is taking but I know quite a few ladies here on the forum have talked about "bone pain" associated with side effects of medication.

Hello Toby, just seen your post. What meds are your wife on? I'm on herceptin, anastrozole and sodium clondrate, the bone pain is horrible, and yes the thigh bones suffer....it does seem worse in bed and gets better when moving about....your wife should mention this to her onco or breast nurse.....x
