Ovarian cancer post debulking recovery

Hi Everyone, I've never used a forum before or posted anything on the internet, but thought I would give it a go.

I had major debulking suregery on 30th Aug 2017 for ovarian cancer. Uterus, both ovaries, cervix, omentum, appendix removed and growth cut away from my bowel (bowel left intact).

It has been seven weeks since my surgery and although I am recovering I am still getting quite a lot of abdominal pain. Different types of pain come and go. Sometimes I have cramps like needing to go to the toilet, sometimes sharp shooting pains in various locations in my pelvis and sometimes when I touch my abdomen in a particular place it feels like I have a splinter in there, which makes me jump when I touch it.

Also I am still having a brownish watery vaginal discharge which is a little worrying.

Has anyone been through this type of suregery?  Have you had or are you having similar issues?

Please let me know if you are.

Thanks

Itsy
