Hi, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer almost a year ago. At the time I was absolutely terrified, but it's amazing how you cope. 

A word of advice, be persistent with your doctor. Ovarian cancer symtoms can be quite vague, I had indegestion and a general feeling that something " wasn't quite right." The next step should be blood tests and scans.

Hi not doing too well can not work this messaging out yet sorry 

I don't know if you can read my messages but seems like I'm in the same boat got my hospital meeting tomorrow never been so worried in my life. 

What are your symptoms ? 

No it didn't. I went to my GP with bloating and indegestion. Even the CT scan didn't show anything.

Finally it was diagnosed by an internal Ultrasound.

I won't say try not to worry, because it's only natural.

Hi Carrie

Just had my CT scan results. Shows no desease progression as yet, but increased fluid on my lung ( common with ovarian cancer )

Will be be back on chemo fairly soon, which in a strange way is reassuring, as all the time I'm having treatment I feel something is being done!

I will be thinking of you tomorrow, I know exactly what you are going through.

no it makes total sense about feeling better when having treatment and no

progression is a positive:)  

spoke to hospital today and found out that the fast track was put In place but the consultant which has made me even more nervous i keep digging hoping for some good news to put my mind at ease and just making things seem worse:( 

Will just have to wait until tomorrow not long now

Too much digging around, especially on the internet can be extremely scary, as I have found out. There is a lot of rubbish out there! Macmillan and Target Ovarian websites I have found the most helpful.

hospital advised they are not concerned about cyst however are doing the ca125 test should be back Friday 

and an outpatient appointment for the polyp which is what they seemed

More interested in 

so it's a wait and see xxx
