Anyone any experience with oral cancer?

Whilst on holiday about 2 weeks ago I noticed what looked like a ulcer under my tongue. I thought this is going to sting  but it never did. It got bigger so when we got home I made an apt with my GP who was new. He was honest and said he’ d never seen it before. A second opinion from a very experienced GP gave the same result. Within days I had an apt which is next Tuesday.

The item did like some pictures I’ve seen bu has changed appearance in that it appears to have lost the round angry bit you get innulcers. It is hard to tell but it does appear smaller but still a bit red

No much in the way of other symptoms except a slight sore throat and a bit of tooth ache. Had a dental check / X-ray but found nothing.

Im pretty certain it is nothing but better safe than sorry. 11 years ago I went to see a neurologist cos my GP wasn’t happy about my tremors. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. I’m now stage 3 PD and there are only 5 stages.

Im not expecting a diagnosis but just wondered if any had  any experiences

I don’t worry easily but I am impatient.
