I’m glad to hear that your dad’s operation is now behind him.

I don’t know much about colon cancer, but I expect that his cancer team at the hospital will be the best people to ask for guidance on what he can or cannot eat. You might also find it helpful to ask the nurses on this site. It is free to call them and they have the medical knowledge needed to answer your question.

I do hope that his surgeons have got it all and that your dad begins to pick up soon.
