My wife has terminal cancer and has an open tumour on her stomach. The wound is dressed twice a day by the district nurses. The wound smells even after it has been dressed and my wife won't leave the house and has mentioned ending her life because of the odour. She has tried charcoal silver and honey dressings but they have not masked the smell. Does anyone know of any products to mask the smell ? I have tried aromatherapy oils on the dressing but it doesn't work. The house also smells as friends keep telling me !!
