Online planning tool for cancer treatment and care?

Hello all,

We've had a query from parkinsons47 - can you help?

"My wife has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and one of the problems I have is that I have Parkinson's, which means I cannot write. I require an online computer planner which I can fill in all the aspects of her care."

I thought of [@Sandra123][@rileyroo][@Dizzle82]‍and the rest of the Good and the Bad crew, but any thoughts from anyone on here are very welcome :-)

Thank you in advance for any suggestions you can give.

  • Hi Helen,

I can't help with a software solution for care planning, but one solution may be in using assistive technology to access conventional software programs. Getting access to the Internet might help parkinsons47 find an answer.

The link below may be of help - it contains another link to an online forum dedicated to this topic.

  • Hi Helen,

I use google calendar on my phone for my planning, which I use basically for appointments. This probably wouldn't be suitable for parkinsons47 however . . .

My suggestion is to download Open Office, which is free and design his own planner. There's an abundance of online templates that might be suitable to use.

He could quite easily, for example, create an appointment diary, a daily or hourly journal, a medication sheet, a list of contacts, etc that suits exactly, his needs. He could also include various info sheets from here or MacMillans or wherever.

Or if he googles 'online planner/calendar' he might find something that he can adapt.
