Looking for some advice. My dad has been told today that he is now palliative care having undergone 9 sessions of unsuccessful chemotherapy. He is having real difficulty in swallowing and we are looking at ways of trying to get him to be able to eat. We have been told that they are willing to put a stent in. However I have been looking into laser surgery and I’m wondering if this is better? Does anyone have any experience of laser surgery on treating a tumour in the oesophagus?
