Sorry to hear that you're struggling with being able to take nystan. Hopefully one of our other community members will be able to offer some tips or advice around this problem.

Hi Reb ...... I use Nystan and actually quite like the taste of it! You dont 'take' it as such, just spread it onto and under your tongue, and around your gums.  There is alternative medication that does the same job in tablet form - so maybe you should call your GP or oncology team to get a different prescription.  Hope the chemo is going well x

Thanks Max, just the thought of it makes my stomach go. I'll give them a call on Monday, as its cycle 1 I can't see that missing it for a few days too bad as my immune system is still ok ish.
