No sleep again.

Hi everyone, just sitting here having a read through some posts and decided it's about time I introduced myself, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 2014 and underwent radiotherapy and at the time it looked like that had beaten it, but then after my second or third psa level check it shown it had returned with a vengeance and spread to secondary bone cancer in my spine for which I am now receiving chemo. For anyone going down the same road it's not all bad, I've only had slight side effects from the treatment , one of the good side effects for me is I'm eating like a horse hence sitting here with a bowl of cereal watching night time tv, I guess that's the steroids doing their thing I just hope it continues this way. I must say though usually my second week after chemo I do tend to get tired during the day , so just shut your eyes and have a kip no problems, don't be afraid to talk to your nearest and dearest about your condition and any worries you may be struggling with it really does help and most of the time they will be glad you brought up the subject as they don't know how to approach it, just get the hankies out and have a good chat.
