Im five months post op and yes the area behind my nipple is still so sore if im checking my breasts. I too had a lumpectomy and my wound is quite near to the nipple. Im getting paranoid but hoping its just scar tissue as the wound is also still sore as there is a large lump of scar tissue there too. The time after treatment, op and radio sucks more than when youre going through it all
