Newly diagnosed Adenocarcinoma T4 lung cancer

Hi all

I was diagnosed on Fri 21st.

I'm 48, married, have 2 kids,  work full time in a job I love with great colleagues.  Life changes quickly doesn't it?

I'm mostly calm and practical with moments of being overwhelmed. I'm on antibiotics at the moment so feeling rough generally. I also have polymyalgia so am on steroids - a bit of a complex mess!

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all, receiving your support and as my journey progresses, be in a position to give support.

Thanks

  • Hi anmar, so sorry you've joined the club nobody wants to join,. When you find out what you're treatment is make sure you check about your steroids status,. I'm on steroids when i had my forth session of cemo i finished up in hospital for 8 days cemo stopped steroids working, properly,. I've got metastatic bony metastases,, prostate adenocarcinoma, plus other problems, they found C over 3 years ago, good luck with whatever treatment they give you,.
