Hi in my experience the lady who did my ultrasound said she could see a thicken area,that could possibly be a polyp. I was sent for a hysterscopy and told if a polyp was there they may be able to remove it.  When the doctor had a good look with the camera, he told me he couldn't see any polyps he was going to take 2 biopsies of the thick area. I got the results 10 days later. I think they have to be careful about saying what's there before they know for sure. There's so many reasons why you are having your symptoms. I see this post was posted a while ago.  I hope you've got your results and everything is going well for you. Take care x

Were your results negative? I had biopsy done 6 days ago  they said pathology really busy so results take 2-4 weeks

What measurement was your thickened area?

Unfortunately not.  After a whole lot of tests and meetings, I've been diagnosed with endometrial cancer.  Stage 2 x

I don't think they told me how thick it is. To be honest it's been a bit of a rollercoaster.  I started hormone therapy a few days ago and I've been tattooed. Just waiting for the date to start with the radiotherapy

Hi mummy2four, I'm really good thankyou.  Hope you are too. I had my hysterscopy on the Monday and got a phone call from his secretary asking me to go to see him a week later. All together my results took  10 days. I  heard him say that they were urgent. I think he knew that there was something wrong.  X

Bumped into your post when I was searching for more info about stage 2 endometrial cancer. I have been diagnosed stage 2 grade 2. 

How are you now? Would you mind sharing a bit more about your experience with me? Did you have radiotherapy? How did the doctors assess lymph nodes in your case?
