New Member - Essential Thrombocythaemia

Hi I’ve just joined this site as I have high blood platelets. They think I’ve got Essential Thrombocythaemia from my head MRI scan. I’ve got to have a bone marrow sample done on the 25.03.19 to confirm my condition. It’s all a big shock discovered from a blood test linked to the stage 4 Endometriosis I suffer from. So I’ve got two conditions for the price of one!!

I know I need to try and say positive but I am worried about the next set of tests and what the results might show.

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about this - I understand you must be worried, and often the waiting and uncertainty is the hardest part. At least you don't have too much longer to wait until your appointment.
