Hello. My name is Pat and I'm 61

4 months ago I had odd day bleeding.  My gp refererred me to gyno. On examination she found I had thickening of womb and  took a biopsy. Then she fitted me with a  cancer coil. The pain was horrendous. Since then I've had cramping period pains very sharp stabbing pain either deep in middle of legs or lower stomach and have bled every day since but mainly after I have been toilet to urinate or other.  It's then very bright red that eases to pink till I go loo again.
is this normal.  I'm so tired and depressed

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some health problems which resulted in you having the coil fitted.

I certainly think it's worth getting in touch with your GP to let them know about your continuing symptoms. They will be able to offer you some reassurance and arrange any appropriate tests or referrals that may be needed.

I do hope that things settle for you soon.

    Best wishes,
