A very warm welcome to our forum. I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Our immediate reaction is always panic, but this is treatable and, you will feel better once you have a plan in place.

I do not have mouth cancer (breast cancer's my bag), but noticed that nobody had replied to your post yet. Can you change the title of your post to oral cancer? This might generate more interest from those similarly affected.

We always advise people to steer clear of Dr Google, as much of the information is inaccurate, out of date, poorly researched and hines in on the more spectacular cases. This will only worry you further. I hope that all goes well with your consultation on Wednesday. Please keep in touch and remember that we are always here for you.
