Hi my grandad is nearly 76 an has throat cancer has been going for chemotherapy but has had treatment stopped due to health reasons, he has had no income for quite a while and is struggling to get around and complete daily tasks, is there any help he could get personally and financially.?? Thanks alex.

    Sorry to hear about your grandad, there is help out there. You could contact Macmillan who can check what financial help you're grandad may be entitled to

    I would also contact your grandad's local authorty social work dept to see what help they could offer to help your grandad in the home and there is always the Citizen Advice Bureaux

    There may be other local cancer charities that may offer support. The local library may have details of local support. Hopefully things will start getting better for your grandad x
