So sorry to hear your nan's diagnosis .. but I can understand her trying to do the best she can ,  to stay as normal as possible for as long as possible. . But there are some good pain relief out there .. and she will need it more as time goes on ... all you can do right now is support her, but let her know when she needs something you will help her through it ..

If I was you I'd give mcmillan a ring on their free phone number ... they are there for everyone effected by it ... they may be able to come out and chat to your nan about her pain ... it will make it easier for her if she does ask for help, but it has to be her decision. . But it may help you talking to some one .. as people that care about us with cancer can find it a hard road to walk down ..
