I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I'm in the same position as you. My husband had his diagnosis of Lung cancer confirmed on 23rd December. Its shattering news. We had planned a quiet christmas as 2 of our 3  Children were away but in the end they all came home and we did have a nice christmas and new year. My husband is very positive about it all. He had his meeting with the oncologist on 3rd January and has decided to have only Radiotherapy which gives him a 15% chance. His prognosis without any treatment is 12 months. I have very teary times when I'm on my own and think the worst at times like how will I manage if I lose him but most of the time I tell myself he will get better - it's the only way I get through the days. I hope your husband has successful treatment. I'm here for you if you need to chat any time. It helps me to know someone else will understand what this feels like.  Take care, Kaz x

Hello Jacqui, It's a scary time, but it's very early days for you. Lung cancer has a bad reputation but I know, although not a medic, that if caught early the chances of cure are very high. Best wishes, Harry.
