My Dad has been diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus

My Dad has been diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus which has spread to his liver and possibly his lungs. The technical term is T3 N1 M1. He has decided to enter a clinical research trial GO2 which uses 2 instead of the 3 chemo drugs. Is anyone going through a similar experience?

Hi Rose (and thanks for the bump Michelle),
I was diagnosed with OC (T3N3M1 in my case) in late 2013. I then had the traditional 3 chemo EOX treatment which was a success - though I still have the cancer but it isn't growing at the moment.
Which combination is your Dad receiving?
I'm happy to answer any questions you might have, if you have any.

Wow that's perhaps many years more than they imagined eh? Superb. We T4 N2 M1 and due to start EOX soon x
