I just wanted to tell you all about my courageous son Adam.

He has been given the all clear after finding he had Testicular cancer, at the end of 2019 which had spread to his lymph nodes in his stomach  his chest and his lungs,he was just 34 when he was diognosed, nearly 35.  He was courageous and   kept me sane, when I to was diognosed with breast cancer  in May 2020. My son is doing the Brighton Marathon in September this year and is doing it  to raise money for appreciation for all the wonderful care that helped save his and my life. So the charity he choose is obviously cancer research in the hope that the money will go to help research in to trestments ,that could also  hopefully help save others lives.

If anyone would like  to read his giving page or  to give anything to his page, it is here https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/adams-giving-page-2639

We all know on here ,what a good cause ,and how much cancee research needs charity money to keep thier life saving research  going. Thanks to all those that take the time to read this, and if anyone feels they would like to donate, thankyou .

Hello Jassoscared

Just wanted to post to send my best wishes and thanks to your son. I'm always in awe of people who can run that distance - I'm rubbish running for the bus and would have no chance in a marathon!

Do update the post after the event and let us know how he got on.

Best wishes,
Jenn

Hi Jen  thankyou for your reply.

My son  will struggle this time around ( he's done runs like this  one before) as obviously having had Testicular cancer ,and beaten it , he's not as fit as he used to be ,and like last time he's done no training whatsoever  but last time he was playing football but he's not even done that ,because of his cancer he had and  covid 19 lockdowns.

But I.know he will finish it with determination and true gritt  even if he has to walk  and run it at times. I looked  and so far he's raised £2.640.00 for cancer research, so proud.

Of course I'll post back on here to let you all know how he gets on.
