Mum's second battle with cancer

Hello,

Yesterday Dad broke the news to me, Mums going to need to through chemotherapy again. Mum has recently had her galbladder removed and hopefully any galstones there with it. Mum previously had ovarian cancer last year in my final year at school and went through six sessions of chemo therapy. Within the first two days Mum's hair was gone. She went to my Art exhibition the first day and the treatment had only started to kick in the next day. I'm now nineteen and yesterday I was absolutely gutted to find out Mum has to go through that all again. I took my friends out for a bit of footgolf to clear the head. We don't know very much at this stage. We just hope Mum has caught it early like the last time. Shes been very poor for a while even after completing the first battle. I really don't know what there is to do. We had a cancer Tractor day with Marie Curie. I recently lost my Auntie to cancer and my Granny to pneumonia. I also have an Uncle close to where I live with farmer's lung and a lung transplant is what he needs. He is on oxygen tanks and its sad to see a man whos so full life on the farm to not be able to work at what he loves or speak and have the craic. In general this has been a depressing year for my family and I, but we'll get on with it. Mum's got plenty of support from us. If theres any advice yous can give on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Willie
