Hi, completely new to this. My mum was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer 31st may, she is still awaiting her surgery which is due 11th September she is getting a mastectomy and reconstruction. My worry is the wait it has taken for her surgery, is this unusual? I also feel I can’t think of things to keep her busy while she waits I want to keep her mind off things but have no idea what to do.
