Welcome to Cancer Chat. I am so sorry to hear about your mum's diagnosis. It must have been a bit of a shock for everyone especially as she had been treated for over a year for piles and had never been sent for further investigation. I hope that she is recovering well at home after having her stoma bag fitted. It's a shame that there is only palliative treatment available in her case and I hope that you will hear from other members of our forum who have found themselves in a similar position. I am sure they will be happy to share their treatment experiences with you.
