MRS

Hi

Im new to this and new to the C word,

My lovely nana has just been told she has lung cancer, she is having lots of test and is being so brave, unjust wish I could do something to help her

  • Hi Jemma...

You just holding her hand, will mean the world .. you can't take it away, or make it better .. but walking beside her , she'll know just how much you care ..

How do I know .. I'm a nanny who's been on my own cancer journey... and my granddaughter held my hand .. made me smile and gave me the courage to get through .. so just go with your heart ..

Don't be scared to say your both scared .. and it's good to share tears .. and lots of hugs .. and there will be lots of lows but a few highs along the way .. try not to be scared of the word cancer... it wants everyone touched by cancer to feel scared .. just look it in the eye .. and get your nan a pair of pink vertual boxing gloves ... wer all there in the ring, trying to kick cancers butt...

Sending you a vertual hug... Chrissie

  • Thank you so much Chrissie send one right back to you xx
