Hi i would go and see your gp it depends on how much pain your mum was in realy there are other things my partner was on slow release patchs and she was lusid i dont think mcmillan nurses are qualified to make that judgement i dont know whats happend to gps they used to come out and visit my advice is ring the surgery and request a visit they are obliged to come lay it on a bit you know the saying the squeaky wheel gets the oil .of course we cant give advice on things like that .but ihope you get sorted its horrid i know at least you might get better info and put your mind at rest on that issue best wishs theres a phone line on here to spk to a cancer nurse . Theres maricurie helpline they are very helpful the have nurses its a free phone helpline you can ask them to about anything any day we alway remember a question you wanted to ask right down any doupts and ring them best wishs

Hiya my partner is on morpnine liquid also moprhine slow release tablets he has 140mgs a day i no what ur saying his eyes roll to back of his head and starts to see things he sleeps alot but he isnt in any pain l but yeah contact ur gp

Thanks for reply.unfortunatly I lost my mam on Easter Friday to this horrendous disease.the end was quick and she wasn't in pain which was a blessing
