I'm not a medic, but Adjuvant chemotherapy is what you need to google, I think. Your own medical team are the best placed to give you the enhanced survival statistics as they know the details of your case. And they are best placed to tell you about the side effects of any proposed chemo. Good luck, Nicky!

unfortunately when i spoke to my chemo doctor for the 1st time he was very rude and would not answer any of my questions.

I'm sorry to hear you've had difficulty discussing this with your chemo doctor.
