Mom n cancer

hi moms just been told she has stage 4 cancer in both lungs and lymph nodes but she wants to know from diagnosis how rapid with she goe from being able to walk to dying  thanks any advice will help

  • Hello Bev

Cancer is a unique. No two people are affected in the same way. Every "body" is different. What I think is important is that for the time being you both focus more on living and less on dying. If you are able go and find a nice colourful and peaceful cgarden somewhere to just spend time in each others company. Information will be along soon enough.

  • Yes, I woud suggest that as well. Bev69, I am sorry to hear about your mom's diagnosis. It must be a huge shock and difficult time for you right now. Try to focus on every day and take it one day at a time. Every person responds to treatments differently, no two people re alike. It would probably be better to ask the doctors since they have her medical history on file, but even then the doctors can be wrong. People may not live as long as doctor's say, but they can also live much longer.

    Take care.
