Mom has to wait a week more to have chemo

My mom has lung cancer met/ to bones liver lymph  nodes.

She has her first strong chemo, 3weeks ago..

after being on keytruda for 8months.her blood  test came back Her WBC is down to 2.0 10,000.

She wasnt able to get chemo tomorrow.  She has to wait

 she 80 years old . Any info appreciated . It this bad news or is this normal

    I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to our forum. I am sorry your mum has had to wait to get her chemo. It might be worth asking her medical team whether there are any reasons for the wait I am sure they will be able to shed light on this for you. Luckily one week isn't too long to wait and fingers crossed her treatment can resume soon!

    I hope the chemotherapy is going well and that she isn't suffering any side effects.

    Do keep us updated on your mum's progress if you get a chance.
