Although I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 9 years, I eventually had a double mastectomy and lost both nipples, so I cannot answer your question from my experience.

I am not a doctor either, but this sounds as if you need to get intouch with your breast care nurses and ask their advice.

They are usually very good at either bringing you in, if they think you may have a problem, or in reassuring you over the phone.

Please phone them straight away and tell them of your worries.
