Migraine

I had a full hysterectomy 18 months ago and all went well although they did find low grade cancer in my ovary, all lymph nodes and other organs unaffected.

i had a small problem at the top of my right leg as it went numb for a while and I do get backaches some days but I have been getting migraines on and off more frequently than I used to get them is this something that other people have suffered with ?

  • Hello Marionb,

Welcome to our forum! I am pleased everything went well with the hysterectomy and it is good news that other organs have been unaffected.

I am so sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing. I think it might be worth mentioning the problem at the top of your right leg to your doctor as well as the backache if you haven't done so already. I hope that you will also hear from others who have suffered from these migraines. If you haven't done it already, do talk to your doctor or specialist about these and mention that you have been getting these more frequently. This is something your doctor will definitely want to know and they may be able to suggest treatment for you to help you feel better. Migraines can be truly debilitating and I hope you manage to get some relief from these soon.

    Best wishes,
