I'm sorry to hear about your Dad's recent diagnosis. I'm unsure if we've anyone here on the forum who has made a claim under the schemes that you've mentioned but hopefully if there is they will post to share their experiences with you.

My dad had mesothelioma at the age of 53. It is a horrible illness and I'm so sorry your dad is going through this. My dad worked in shipyards in Glasgow when he was younger. My dad used Thomson Solisitors in Glasgow. They specialise In asbestos claims. My dad didn't survive to see his claim being won but my mum was given everything he was due.
