MDT results... what’s the process?

Hi, 

my husbandc is currently under investigation for bone cancer. The doctor who treat him at hospital said his scan etc would go to the MDT meeting next Friday. I just wondered how they will get in touch.... letter/call? And how long the wait for appointments is. It’s going to be a long week as it is! Thank you for reading x

    Hello..I usually hear from the CNS (nurse) straight after the MDT with the results..

    At another hospital i had to wait for an appointment with the consultant so I guess it depends on the hospital.. 

    If you dont have a CNS yet you could call the consultants secretary and ask how you will receive the results.
