Man's 'life saved' by new treatment for aggressive Cancers

I just came across this wonderfully positive story in Beds news (www.bedfordshirelive.co.uk) and wanted to share.- it's great to see new treatments giving new hope and saving lives.

He was among the first in Europe to receive the treatment.

Really pleased for this chap, gives us all hope x

  • Hello AnnetteSky

Thank you for sharing this good news story! You're right it does give hope when people are able to read about positive outcomes and I'm sure that this news piece will do just that for many others.

I was sorry to read about your own diagnosis and I hope that you don' have to wait too long to see the Oncologist to discuss the next steps in your journey.

Keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi Jenn, many thanks for your reply. Yes since my diagnosis I've of course become more focussed on Cancer treatments that are making a real difference and it is reassuring that new treatments are being developed and made available moving forward, quite literally our lives depend on them!

To be honest my diagnosis is still sinking in and I'm not sure if it will ever feel real. My appointment with the Oncologist is a bit further away that I'd hoped for but that could change.

It's good to know there is support out there.

    Best wishes,
