My Mum has had a biopsy and is now having a chest X-ray and MRI tomorrow. However, she had a phone call today from a lady saying she's a Macmillan nurse. Why would they contact my Mum when she hasn't yet had a diagnosis? I don't understand.
I hope your mum's chest X-ray and MRI went well yesterday and that you don't have to wait too long to get her results. I can imagine it must have been rather unsettling for you to receive this phone call. Have you managed to find out more about this? It might be worth talking to your mum's medical team about this and whether there is anything more they can tell you about the reasons for this phone call. I hope you get some clarity on this very soon.
