Lung cancer spread to adrenal gland and brain

my auntie who am very close to become unwell around August 2017 she had very swallow legs had trouble walking on them and felt unwell in herself, she was going to the doctors a lot trying to find out the problem they diagnosed her with rheumatoid arthritis.
she was trying this drug off them for this but they sed she needed a chest X-ray as she had asma I have no idea what the drug had to do with asma but she had the X-ray, they call her back for an appointment 1 day later she thought she was going in for the drug and the doctor then explained she had a mass on her lung.
after biopsy's pet scans and eveythink else it was confirmed she had stage 3b lung cancer in February 2018 took them Nerly 7 months to do a chest X-ray!!!!
it was such a shock she is only 54.
she started the chemo and started to look so much better she started walking again properly and felt back to herself.
then she was offered an op to remove it about 2 weeks before the operation we found out it had spread to her adrenal gland and the brain, absolutely heartbroken by the news the lung op was no longer an option, she had op to remove tumour from the brain but it came back.

now she is so ill she has been given 4 months : ( 2 weeks ago and completely deteriorated since she is on morphine and steroids and anti sickness from a syringe driver and she has been in bed for a week in angoy with pain off the headaches unable to walk or talk properly she is very frustrated and angry when she talks to us.

She is like a completely different person it is heart breaking that this is happening at her : ( i don't no how long she has or if she will come out this pain for abit and be able to go outside the house. She has no quality of life at all.
has anyone been threw this i am 28 and she is like my mum not just my auntie I am finding it so hard to care for her it's so upsetting to see her like this
