Lump underarm pit

Hi, I found a lump under my armpit a few weeks ago, got booked in at the GP who sent me to the Breast clinic, I got an ultrasound and mammogram today, while I was having my ultrasound the doctor got a second doctor to come in and check they sent me away to come back later on in the day, I went back in worried at this point to found another doctor stood there and repeated my ultrasound, the doctor asked if I had my Covid vaccine which I had a week ago but found the lump a few weeks before this, she explained my lymph node was inflamed so wants me to come back in 4 weeks time to look again when the inflammation has gone down, she stated there was something there but with the inflammation they couldn't  be sure what it was. So I have to wait another 4 weeks with not known what is going on has anyone else had this experience?? Am worrying now and to have to wait 4 more weeks aswell just wanting some else's opinion if they have had a similar experience Thankyou x

    Hi Sophebx,

A very wartm welcome to our forum.

Please try not to worry. A number of people have reported having found lumps following their Covid vaccine and these usually settle with time. I expect that this is why you're being brought back in 4 weeks.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are alwys here for you.

    Here's hoping for good news.

    Kind regards, Jolamine xx
