I always have lumpy breasts before and during my period but in November my usual lump in my left breast became extremely large and didn't go down like normal. Decided to get it checked GP referred me to the breast clinic, mammogram and ultrasound clear. Was told to wait until after my next period to see if it reduced when I had another appointment. The lump had reduced so the consultant decided not to do a biopsy. Now the lump has returned, very tender and achey but movable. Have my hormones just changed to make this flare up again or should I return to the go to get it checked again? I thought I might wait a week and see if it settles again.
