Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here. I have had a lump on my jawline for a couple of months. (Thought it was a swollen gland because I had a cold,) Went to the GP and they've sent me for an urgent referral to the maxifacial clinic. I have started to feel very unwell and the lump seems to be changing. My cousin sadly died 2 years ago with a very rare cancer in his saliva glands. My GP said my lump could indicate a stone in my salivary glands, but he needs to rule out something more sinister. I've only been waiting for the appointment a few days and I know it will be a fortnight. My concern is that my cousin died within 12 weeks and I starting to feel very unwell. Just really wondering if anyone else has had similar symptoms. Thank you
