Lump in neck and groin

Hi,

I've been sitting on this problem for quite sometime as I'm not sure if it is something to be concerned about or not. I have had a lump in my neck for quite some time, maybe for about 2 years. Last year I found a new lump in my groin. I have no other symptoms apart from I have crazy itchy skin all over my body especially under my arms, behind my knees, the bend of my elbow. There is no sign of any rash and this itching gets worse and unbearable when I'm warm. Just wondering, from those of you that have experience with lymphoma, do you think this is something I should get checked out or does it sound similar to what you experienced at all?
thanks in advance for your help

  • Hello Georgia1998 and welcome to Cancer Chat.

I'm sorry to hear that you found a lump and that your skin is itching a lot lately. The best course of action, in my opinion, is to phone your GP and ask for an appointment to have these symptoms checked the next time you have a chance as they're the only ones who will be capable of assessing your situation.

Also, feel free to give our team of nurses a call if you think that speaking with someone with a medical background might help. They're available on this free number 0808 800 4040 and you can ring them Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

    All the best,
