lump in left breast

hi,

this time last year i noticed a lump and got it checked out and it was all okay, fortuantly it was a Fibroadenoma which i had a biopsy done on and cam eback positive.

recently my lump has been getting bigger and is now huge and im getting loads of pain from it as its pressing on a nerve and my nipple making it very tender and sore. i have booked to see my gp about it when i go bqck from uni next week but just want advice on the removal as it is now to big and i just want to get rid of it

  • Hi pepper2

I'm sorry to hear that the fibroadenoma is causing you further problems. It sounds like a sensible idea to have made an appointment to see your GP next week.

There's a little bit of information on the Breast Cancer Now website about having a fibroadenoma removed. I'd suggest be open and honest with your GP and tell them about the impact that the lump is now having on your daily life.

I hope that things are resolved for you soon.

    Best wishes,
