Lump found ... advice needed

So last week I ended up in hospital with pain in my lower left side from my colonoscopy. It was very painful got passed around to different doctors ect but one doctor did examine me now he found a lump. The lump is between my virgian wall and anus it's very hard and causes alot of painful pressure, now they have done scans, ultrasound & ct scan but they are saying they cant see it on them !!! But I can feel it and so can the 2 doctors that examined me one even mentioned it might be poo but eliminated that possibility with medicine given. They have now sent me on my way with painkillers but I'm none the wiser to what this lump is.

I have had ongoing bowl problems for 6 months also been told I have gastritis.

Can anyone reccomend where I can go from here as I'm so stressed out and no one seems to want to help me I am 27 years old and never thought I would struggle as much as I have these past few months any advice would be great thank you. Xx

  • Hi Mua_amy

I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing some health problems. It sounds like it's been a really frustrating time for you.

Presumably you've been to see your GP about the gastritis/bowel problems. Have you been back to the GP since you were in hospital? Your GP should have a discharge letter from the hospital or access to your records so that they can see what  was discussed and what tests were done whilst you were there. If you are still concerned about these lumps then do go back and see your GP again.

I hope that you're able to get things resolved quickly.

    Best wishes,
