 I'm sorry about the lump and pain you are experiencing in your breast but I’m afraid no one here on the forum can tell you what this might be caused by.

It’s good you have been referred you to the breast clinic for further checks just to be on the safe side. There they will be able to give you a clinical examination and carry out a ultrasound and/or mammogram to check everything is ok and sometimes they may also need to take a biopsy. This will all be explained to you when you go but just to say that the majority of women who attend the breast clinic won’t have breast cancer.
