Low grade dyskaryosis and HPV positive

Hey all. I hope you're all well! Hoping someone might be able to help. I was wondering if anyone had had the same smear results as me -Low grade dyskaryosis and HPV positive- from their smear. I'm due for a colposcopy and am awaiting an appointment date for this. I was wondering if anybody with this result went on to have less that fortunate results after their colposcopy? I've seen posts from people saying not to worry etc but I am convinced there is soemthing a bit more serious going on and I want to be prepared for that possibility. If anyone could share their stories following their results and any treatment that was needed that would be amazing. Thank you all

    Hopefully some of our members will share their stories and advice with you soon but whilst you wait I hope this information we have about cervical screening results and the colposcopy will help put your mind at ease.

    Hi EM-FOST and welcome to the forum.

    I noticed you were hoping to hear back from Mich.S so I just wanted to let you know that they haven't been back on the forum since making this post and as this discussion was created over 2 years ago, there's a chance you may not find out how they're getting on.

    I'll have my fingers crossed that won't be the case, but if you don't receive a reply you could start your own discussion about your results or try reaching out to others on more recent and active discussions you find about this topic on the forum.

    We also have a team of very insightful and supportive cancer nurses you can discuss your results with on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines will be open between 9a.m - 5p.m from Tuesday onwards and they will do all they can to answer any questions you may have and put your mind at ease.
