I’m sorry I’ve not really got a way with words or the best answer to this but I’m in a similar situation and the thing that keeps me going the most just thinking ahead to the future and all the happy and better times that are still to come, might not be easy to imagine at the moment but they will come

So sorry for your loss, I lost my Dad in March 3 months after diagnosis of cancer of the unknown primary. So I can relate to how you must be feeling. It really is a shock to the system. It’s something I am learning to live with this big gap in my life (Dad). Take Care 

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad to stage 4 pancreatic cancer earlier this week and I'm struggling to cope. I so wish there was a switch we could flick which would make all of this go away and bring them all back. Thinking of you x
