Lobular cancer in left breast

Hi I was diagnosed end of June and things have moved rather quickly, had mri last week, today had magseed implant fitted ready for surgery next week Thursday, my anxiety is high can't stop worrying, although I am pleased with the time frame,

any one know if I will have chemo or radiation treatment afterwards ? Or won't surgeon know this until this bloody cancer is removed

  • Hi Heddi

I was diagnosed with lobular cancer in left breast in March

operated 18 th March clear margins & nothing in lymph nodes thankfully so was expecting 4 weeks of radiotherapy .However pathology report came backe Her2 + so the negative I'm 4 cycles down if chemo & 4 to go

Positive is there is a target driven drug Herceptin fir this specific cancer but hand in hand with chemo

Basucalky try to deal with this awful scenario one day at a time
