I was diagnosed last Sunday with this stomach cancer and that is exactly the stage I am at, cannot eat anything and lost 37KG in last 5 months.

i have scans this Sunday but expect the worst realistically

I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis and what an anxious time this must be for you and your family. We are also waiting for Scans to see whether the chemo was effective. My husband was diagnosed in June before he had any significant weight loss. His condition progressed rapidly since then. He is in his early seventies.

l hope it works out well for you and you get better news than expected.

Sorry to hear you are going through this hell of a disease. We have just had a diagnosis for my husband . Stage 4 linitis plastica. He has been told he can't have surgery as the cancer has spread . How is yours progressing? Any update on how you are coping or advice for us .

im stage 4 as well, too late for surgery. I’m starting palliative chemotherapy in 2 weeks.

im losing weight so fast it’s petrifying.

i was given less than 6 months in my prognosis

sounds really unpleasant . My husband has lost 20 kg in the last 3 months . We were just told that his cancer has spread so can't have surgery so on Monday they will consult us in regards to Chemo . How long was it before you were given a start date for your Chemo . There don't seem to give us any information about when and the process . I am wishing you well . We live in London and look forward to meeting those going through the same struggle as us

Im sorry it’s so young, I was 52 last week.

I’m trialling a new drug with my chemotherapy, it was only approved the day before I met my consultant so let’s see and hope it’s positive.

one day someone will beat this curse.
