Life expectancy

hello! 

My dad had testicular cancer last year and received chemotherapy treatment. 

I was with a friend who had gone through chemo her self and she said that having chemo shortens your life expectancy. Is this the case? I feel really worried.

    We have some information about survival for testicular cancer on our website but our cancer nurses may be better placed to explain the relationship between chemo and life expectancy so do give them a call on 0808 800 4040 if you'd like to talk things through with them.
