Hi, Yesterday visited my surgeon and team nurse. It would appear that I have a neuroendocrine tumour in the ileum/colon, and just for good measure another two "areas of interest" in my throat and lung. I had been wondering why slight discomfort swallowing and sore back. I am told things will be moving quickly now, operation on bowel, and further investigations on the other two sites. For others on this site, I look at it this way; I'm 72 and have had no illnesses of note throughout my life, so I will keep my sympathy for all you other (younger) folks, who have it all to live for. Funnnily, saying this on this site, is quite cathartic. I wish you all the best possible chance at life. Keep strong. Many thanks.
